PHUKET: Jeff Retro, a DJ from a top night club in Las Vegas, performed for thousands of guests at Illuzion night club in Patong on July 9.
Jeff has been a DJ for about 15 years now. He was born in Ohio and comes from a musical background. He was raised by a single mother who majored in music in college and worked as a music and choir director. His father was a music major as well and still plays with a small band in Ohio.

PHUKET: Phuket native Montree Todtan is the CEO of the soon-to-open 'Phuket Elephant Sanctuary' in Pa Khlok. The sanctuary is a dedicated last home for Asian elephants rescued and rehabilitated from life in the captive elephant tourism industry.
Now 46 years old, Mr Montree grew up in Phuket and after completing high school went to Ramkamheang University for three years before becoming a salesman. His sales work took him around the country and the region, but when the economic crash came it was time to return home and do something different.

PHUKET: Dr Passaratep Anuruk-paiboon MD, Dsc (or Dr Pat, as he is better known), is the director of dermatology and chief dermatologist at Phuket International Dermatology Institute (PDI) at Phuket International Hospital. He is originally from Bangkok, but was raised in Samui for about five years.
